Nigeria makes a re turn to Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) after 4 years of being absent from the tournament. Instability in coaching crew was a major factor in Nigeria missing out from AFCON in 4 years. It’s unclear which country would host AFCON 2019, Cameroun were stripped hosting rights after CAF after failure to secure facility to host 24 teams an upgrade from the initial 16 teams AFCON tournament. Alexander Iwobi

The Arsenal man started the new season under new gunner coach Unai Emery high flying but as the season progress Iwobi’s form has deteriorated while Arsenal fans are hoping their young exciting attacking midfilder would improve his game and remain consistent for the rest of the season.

Iwobi have played 20 games for Arsenal in all competitions this season and have been on scorers sheet once having been able to register 4 assist. On his general play, Iwobi still havea lot to improve on in order to command starting shirt at Arsenal.

Kelechi Iheanacho 

Leicester fans are hoping the young Nigerian can replicate his staggering goal scoring form at Manchester City. Ever since his switch to King power, Kelechi has struggled to make himself a commanding figure in the Foxes attacking set up.

Even with Jamie Vardy suspension and injuries earlier this season, Kelechi failed to make lasting impact on the coach as his play generally have been filled with inconsistency and lack of bite in the opposition box. with 19 games played in all competition this season, Kelechi have managed to find the back of the net twice while providing 4 assist. for a striker, this figure is poor and he would be hoping to improve on it before the end of the current campaign.
